Question: I have heard before that there are early warning signs of becoming a serial killer. What are some of these signs in kids, adults? What have various killers said when asked why they kill?
Answer: We still don't know the reason and try to analyze and come up with some answers. I tend to think that head injury may be cause. I have read it somewhere that lots of serial killers or violent offenders have suffered childhood head trauma. I think head injury must've damaged the pre frontal love (Adrian Rean's research) and may somehow made the serial killers less paranoid and more of a killer. What do you think? As far as head injury is concerned some interesting stories are out there where common people completely changed after suffering injury to the head. Lots of symptoms that occur after a head injury seem to coincide with the symptoms shown by serial killers or violent offenders. As for the pre frontal lobe connection and lack of paranoia, I am being creative here and that is completely my idea and you may disagree. I believe he found some dog or something and used some acid to get to the bones. He seems to be a classic necrophiliac. As far as head injury, nobody knows. Most of the info about Dahmer is gained from a book written by his father Lionel Dahmer. He also suffered double hernia and had some difficulty during his birth. I have no idea about his ethnic heritage, like where did his grand parents came from etc? Does anyone know? Dhamer's necrophila also showed a type of glorification and involvement with the dead body. He was not interested about the live ones and therefore he killed his victims with drugs or whatever and once they are dead he would start his thing. It is more like after the fact thing and he was not a sadist. What causes necrophilia? Is that genetic? Can it be tied to head injury? These are the questions that need to be answered. Too bad he is dead. Ed Kemper is alive, I believe.
