Question:
my litigation is reaching a boiling point, and I know it affects my body.. it reacts by becoming sick. Does you mom know how to cook a good Jewish chicken soup?:) With my cold and upper respiratory infection it would come handy.

"Experts", well, any useful information, from any source I fish out on the Net, from any list I am on, or have been on, I file neatly in my "Experts" file. Only problem, I can't always recall what do I have there. Any bright ideas how to resolve that problem??

How is your health now, Debbie? Last I heard, prior to leaving for Israel, you were battling some complications due to a new injury... how is it now??

Answer: Children with moderate or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) often achieve substantial recovery of cognitive functions during the first year after injury. However, a recent study on pediatric brain injury has found that recovery slowsmarkedly after the first year, with the most severely injured children showing the greatest slowing of recovery in subsequent years.

Headed by Kenneth M. Jaffe, MD, Director of Rehabilitation Medicine at Children's Hospital and Medical Center and a professor in the UW Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, the study investigated the patterns of change in behavioral, academic, and independent living skills over a 3-year period in children with brain injury. The study examined the children's deficitsat different times following injury and the association between injury severity and those deficits, as well as the effect of severity on recovery.
