this rehab project doesn't necessarily address brain injury rehab. After all, there are so many nervous system injuries (ie Rick Hansen's spinal injury) that could use rehab. However, this seems to be a grant to be used to form a peer-support kind of rehabilitation environment, there doesn't seem to be something directly related to brain injury rehab here, unless creating information resources somehow rehabilitates physical injuries. Is anyone else surprised that Velcro Kitty is again blowing smoke? And I continue debunking...

TBI, in case you were wondering, stands for Traumatic Brain Injury, and ABI stands for Acquired Brain Injury. You'll note that Velcro Kitty doesn't tell us what they are. You're again put in the position of having to trust what Velcro Kitty says (ie that this is related to brain injury) - never an enviable place to be.

In fact, this wasn't the only grant handed out. As well, this grant is about one year old. Jan Park Dorsay (is this person actually related to John Dorsay?) has received another grant since then, albeit not as much as last year. Just to head off any VK "haha you didn't get as much $$" flames, I'd like to note that this reduction in the amount could be due to any number of factors, not the least of which are government cutbacks in medical expenses (happening in Ontario) and increased numbers of applicants, if any. Of course, she could just not need $2500 in setup costs if the Rehabilitation Resource Centre is moving into its second year of operation.

Answer: You allege psychiatric abuse in brain injury rehab. This allegation is consistent with your delusions, but inconsistent with facts. I do not expect to convince you that your delusions have no basis in reality, nor am I trying. Regardless, my wife has *no* psychiatric funding (as I stated). No conflict, sock puppet.

I have repeatedly and publicly stated that there was considerable abuse in brain injury rehab in Ontario. Indeed, I played a part in exposing and ultimately ending the abuse of which I wsa aware. Even though I explicitly state there was significant abuse in ABI, you think my wife's funding from a neurotrauma foundation represents some sort of conflict of interest. It may be a conflict if I attempt to suppress evidence of the abuse, sock puppet. But I expose evidence. That is not a conflict of interest. The only conflict is that of facts with your rabid antipsychiatry delusions.
