Cell Phone Users, SUV's and Brain Damage...No kidding

Question:
You know those annoying cell phone users who insist on yakking on the phone in the supermarket, video store, public transportation, the theater, library, doctor's office, jet airliner, mall, et. al. The lives of these cell phone users are so important that society at large needs to be informed of every nauseating detail of the their pathetic existence.

Even more disturbing are the dolts in SUV behemoths oblivious to their surroundings yakking away putting everyone else's life in danger. And _no_, 'hands free' is just as distracting. Would you have your physician perform surgery on yourself while talking on the phone? No? Too dangerous? Then why since upwards of 50,000 people die on American highways do you feel the need to yak on the phone in your ill-handling, slow braking, high center of gravity, no crush zone, gas guzzling, Islamic kook supporting SUV?

Ever wonder if the average compulsive cell phone user isn't quite right in the head? Something beyond cultural rudeness, childhood trauma or trendoids engaging in social masturbation? So the next time some cartoony SUV with an idiot yakking on the phone puts my life in danger with an unsafe lane change or tailgating I'll no longer feel the need to open my window and yell "Whatta ya got ing brain damage or something?!". 'Cause I'll take comfort knowing you'll someday be in an 'assisted living center' dressed in a bib and a pair of adult diapers.

Answer: I will refrain from placing judgment on it. The damage they are showing, looks like damage you would See from current nodes in the brain. (ie) Locations that the current flow is concentrated. That will only happen if a half wavelength of the signal is About the same as the size of the features in the brain.

The possibility of the brain acting like an antenna at higher Frequencies has always been a possibility. But no one really knows the power level that it takes to cause Sufficient heating for permanent damage.

But personally, I have a radiation shield between me an the antenna. It's called a car top! I have never seen the logic in operating a radio device in a steel box. It has always seemed natural to put the antenna on the outside of the box. Irrelevant of the question on brain damage.

Anyone tailgating with a 3 ton SUV while yakking on a cell phone is a deadly psychopath. Toss a handful of marbles back at them. What about the people talking on cell phones while driving compact cars.

When I am driving my 1 ton van (9500 GVW) I have had more than one jump out in front of me from a side road, or cut me off from another lane. Good thing the van has good breaks, or they would be a complete new meaning to the term "compact car."
