Question: I'd like to know what "Higer Consciousness" is too. How is it different than higher consciousness? And what does Steven's video have to do with either? I'm not sure whether that slur is from alcohol, drugs, or from some sort of head injury. When I heard the part about what his mom said to him I howled so hard with laughter that the tears rolled down my cheeks. The one thing that bothered me was the Rolodex. A 2.4 G Pentium 4 with 512M of RAM and he's using a Rolodex?
Answer: It is quite emotionally moving and produces varying emotions. I just showed it to a psychologist friend of mine who also was saddened by the disintegrated performance. Having both of us having yesterday attended a psychiatric conference on disassociation this demonstration of fragmentation was timely. However he too felt sorry for him as clearly being beyond therapeutic help. His opinion is that Steve was under the influence of methadone and/or brain injury. He quipped that thie video was a good advertisement for compulsory euthanasia in the community. i think i have "brain injury" to a degree. from just the prescription drugs the doctors gave me, which led to THIS :) i want to get a x-ray of my brain, or whatever, to see the seratonin level. i wonder if it is like all ty and depleted. there was a show on last night called Asylum about crazy people i think. saw the add for it and it had some older guy talking to a psych, rambling on all this stuff, and the psych was like "now, you're intelligent enough to know you are just talking a load of total nonsense, and half of it is psychobabble too" and he's like "yea. yea. yea.." so i taped the last half of it while dad was watching another show, missed the first part, will maybe watch what i taped today. i like watching crazy people. it's a weird fascination i had especially right near the edge of my own fall. i even wrote about my own "fall" just prior to it Showed the video to my girlfriend and apparently she finds Steve "Dreamey!", "Far-Out!" and "The Grooveyist!". She thinks we should "Join his Cult" or at least "try to do a three-way with the dude" I really don't understand it at all but apparently he has some sort of weird, hypnotic, Svengali effect on the babes. Strangest thing I've ever witnessed! Been there, done that, I'm finished with my "brother's keeper" effort now. Look up Albert Einstein's aphorism on "insanity," that's what convincing the poor sod to get help is like. He's a lot more than just a drunk or brain-damaged from an accident, he's an untreated severe bipolar with psychotic features and a predeliction for multiple drug habits.
