Kleptomania and head injury etc

Question:
it is notoriously difficult to prove a negative (which includes a measurement of zero) using scientific methods. And why should they have to? The sceptics are not trying to sell anything. The mere fact that pro-helmet studies suggest helmets are more effective against brain injury than against superficial injury should be sufficient to cause deep disquiet in any reader, but for some reason the "injury prevention community" laps it up - maybe because they realise that anything aimed at reducing the real source of danger, careless driving, will be politically unacceptable. It's the same mentality which has councils cutting down trees because children might climb them and fall out. And perhaps you could tell us who that was? Oh, that's right, you don't read any of the research papers so you also don't read the journals that publish them and then their rebuttals.

Answer: There are 2 case reports. One is an army major and the other is a Cyprus resident. Lot of things can happen after a head injury while the brain tries to recover and goes into an overactive state and remain in that state for months. Were those people had any co-morbid condition in addition to stealing such as hyperactivity etc? Also, were they on medication and what type? I don't see any co-relation between kleptomania and head injury. There is a connection to psychopathy and head injury. However putting the Kleptomaniacs also in the psycopathic category may be considered misdiagnosis.
