Brain Injury Articles

Question:
what you consider evidence. The article you showed contained no inference that properly designed headgear would reduce brain injury, it only implied that poorly designed headgear can increase it. The obverse is not obtainable from the facts you presented. You've been wearing that defective headgear haven't you?

Answer: No one is saying headgear makes one bulletproof, that's you trying to argue against a strawman. The International olympic Committe and the International Amature Boxing Association both have done studies into this and SURPRIZE are convinced that headgear DOES help to reduce brain injuries. I have posted quoted articles to this effect from both sources. So, Sorry, but I rather think TWO international sport governing bodies know a little bit more than you do with your posts here. Wearing headgear DOES help to prevent brain injuries, anyone that argues against THAT simple statement is simply an idiot and should rant and rave against the IOC and the AIBA who have required headgear, tested headgear and SUPORT the wearing of headgear for that simple reason. Sorry, Thomas, but your seat of the pants argument and strawman statements don't change the overwhelming body of facts. Headgear helps. Period. Until the IOC and AIBA change THEIR opinions and don't require headgear, pardon me while ignore your less informed opionion on this matter.
