How do you avoid brain damage with DXM? How often should i take it? I take DXM just to escape from the world, so it's tempting to do that every day. Unfortunately, i don't want brain damage. Would spacing out my trips 2 weeks apart minimize any of the effects of DXM on the brain? Do any of you know what causes brain damage? Is it the depletion (this sounds so...gayish, sorry) of the chemicals in the neurotransmitters that causes brain damage? If that's all it is, then sticking to 2nd and 3rd plataue with 2 weeks of rest in between trips should allow my brain to recover, right? What do you guys think?

If you take too much of the stuff, you might really escape from the world, permanent. Be careful that your limits are dependant on your own bodily makeup. Just like with alcohol, some people can handle more than others before getting drunk. When my daughter had to start chemotherapy to treat leukemia, they weighed her, they took all kinds of measurements of her physique to work out the safest dosages before any medication started. Just be careful. Anyway, it is probable that if you do damage your brain, you might not even be aware of it, only others will notice.
